Kindergarten Field Trip

The kindergarten field trip to observe exotic animals at Eudora Farms October 13, 2004 was very successful! Over 475 kids from Washington, Johnson, and Glascock counties attended. The event received many favorable responses from teachers and parents.

Another kindergarten field trip has now been planned for Wednesday morning, October 4, 2006 from 9am to 12 noon. The Exhibit Building, Baby chick hatchery, Livestock barn, Aquarium and Wildlife exhibits will be available for the group to visit. Eudora Farms will also make their zoo accessible. Dunebuggy, the Clown, will also be available. Most of the field trip is expected to be a self guided tour. The field trip will probably take a minimum of one hour. The Headstart/PreK program will be invited Wednesday or Thursday.
